About Prof. Hatem Eleishi

Dr. Hatem Eleishi is a Professor of Rheumatology at Cairo University, Egypt. He serves as the director of Dr. Hatem Eleishi Medical Center in Maadi, Cairo. Graduating from Cairo University in 1990, he holds Masters (1994) and MD (1998) degrees, is ECFMG certified (USA, 1993), and possesses diplomas in Medical Education and Management & Leadership.

Dr. Hatem specializes in rheumatology and immunology, with a focus on rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis. He employs a multidisciplinary approach, coordinating with psychiatry, dietetics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and physiotherapy clinics to provide holistic care.

Passionate about patient empowerment, he hosts two YouTube channels, Arabic channel and English channel, providing accessible insights into autoimmune arthritis. Beyond medicine, Dr. Eleishi is a public speaker, founder of the Dr. Hatem Eleishi Academy for Doctors Training in Clinic Management and Career Coaching, and a published novelist. He is also an avid houseplant expert who enjoys celebrating patient recovery by gifting plants to those who diligently follow their treatment plans and prioritize evidence-based medical advice over online search results.

Consultation Fees

• Consultation fee: 3,000 EGP.
• Follow-up consultation within 2 weeks: 1,400 EGP.
• A limited number of appointments are available each week.
• A free clinic is available for eligible patients after a social assessment.

Booking Deposit & Cancellation Policy

A booking deposit is required to confirm all paid appointments. Appointments may be changed or cancelled by the patient up to one working day before the scheduled appointment. The booking deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled on the day of the visit.

Eligibility for Booking

Clinic Reception Experience

Before confirming your appointment, our assistant medical team will review your medical complaint to ensure that it falls within Prof. Hatem Eleishi's current scope of practice. If another specialty or rheumatology clinic would be more appropriate for your condition, you will be guided accordingly. If your condition is suitable for booking at Prof. Hatem Eleishi's clinic, you will be asked to pay the required booking deposit to proceed with the booking process. Your appointment will not be confirmed until the required booking deposit has been received.

Punctuality

Please arrive at the clinic on time. If this is your first visit to any clinic at DHMC, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete the registration process. Patients who arrive after their scheduled appointment time may need to wait until there is a suitable opportunity to be seen without delaying other patients with confirmed appointments.

What to bring

Please bring your identification document, previous medical reports, laboratory results and imaging reports (if not uploaded already prior to your visit), radiology images, and the medication boxes you are currently taking (more helpful rather than the prescriptions if you are using several prescriptions by the same doctor).
